Anyone stayed anywhere nice in Venice?

We have changed our flights from Naples to Venice (and now off in Nov)

So if anyone can recommend anywhere to stay will be cool pls

Sorry, I've been and thoroughly recommend it but it was very last minute so we ended up staying outside Venice, about a twenty minute bus ride away in Mestre - wouldn't recommend that, that's for sure, it's not nice there!

Venice is gorgeous though, specially if you've got a good budget???

Its weird because I am very much a "city" person and have always wanted to go to Italy above anywhere else, but could never afford it I promise myself that I will go one day sp please let me know if you find anywhere and what its like when you come back..You lucky girly!!
