Cyprus Piccies (sorry, quite a few!)
Well, were back and we had a wonderful time! The weather was amazing, the place was great and we laughed and relaxed like we had nothing else to do!! Got off to a bit of a bad start as Rosie had picked up a Viral Infection and was poorly on the way to the airport but we took her to the Doctor and she picked up after about 4 days which was good.
On the way there we went Club Class so spent a few hours in the lounge eating croisants and drinking orange juice which was nice as I was starving! Went quite quickly and the flight was fine - we had the front seats with loads of room which was great, especially with little un not being too good.
Got there and unpacked and had a wander while the boys walked out for KFC for dinner and had an early one.
On Tuesday which was my Birthday, Mark and I went out for a big fat English breakfast which was lush and then spent the day by the pool and in the garden drinking and eating. We then went out for the most beautiful Chinese meal we have ever had. Calie and Paul stayed in which I felt bad about but they were adamant we were going out to celebrate. It was good in a way as we got our bearings for the rest of the holiday and knew where everything was.
We spent a lot of time lazing on the beach and by the pool which was a massive surprise to us both that we enjoyed it! Mark was in his element bless him and I've not seen him so happy in a long time.
We hired a car for a few days and drove up to the Troodos mountains which were just amazing. On the way we found 2 waterfalls, one of which was just out of this world. We stopped off in some of the local villages that are really old and traditional and its amazing that people still live like this - its just great to see.
We went into Ayia Napa on Monday and had the day on Nissi Beach where Calie and I decided that we were going to go Paragliding!!!! We took a deep breath and went for it and we were so glad we did. We went up together and it is one of the most amazing things I have ever felt - so quiet and peaceful and the view was something else. Also, it meant me getting on a speed boat for a fair amount of time and I was fine so I must be getting over my fear of the things!!!
We went to some beautiful restarants and ate like Id never eated before! They couldnt believe how much I was putting away! It was all so lovely that you had to try it all!
We had brekkie most days in The Naggs Head, much to Marks delight (hes a dir-hard Only Fools and Horses Fan) and they played it all day so when it got too warm, we headed there for a cold one and some Trotters!
I could go on forever but youd all be bored to tears but we really did have an amazing time - it was everything we wanted it to be and more and we certainly wont be leaving it so long before we go again!
Now for some piccies!!
This is where we stayed and some of the us lazing by the pool. They are renovating a huge church behing the house which is just beautifuly - Mark was watching them work as he lay there - you can take the man away from the job and all that!!!

And these were from the 2nd more amazing one. The little ducklings and the mum live here which is the top of the supply to the fall. Its set up amazingly and there are all sorts of animals in here - crabs, frogs, chickens, peacocks, pheasants just wandering around in the natural habitat. You cant see but the ducklings are under a table where a local man is selling fresh fruit and it was soooooooo tasty !
Mark picked this little one up as he kept biting my toes!

Wow Paula! Looks like you had a fab time, and there are some lovely photos of you.
I remember those waterfalls - did you have follow a winding track to get to them? The Troudos mountains are beautiful.
Glad to hear you had such a lovely time - you both look very relaxed in the photos.
