It's just occurred to me that I never did get round to writing that thread about my holiday in France last month so I figured it was about time!!
First off, some pics of our luxury <cough> accommodation (which was actually okay and suited our needs perfectly, especially as each pitch had a private shower/toilet/sink)

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

(And I didn't wear make-up the whole time we were there! )

Anyway, we had a fab relaxing time and played lots of cards, scrabble, connect 4 (as you do on a camping holiday right??) and generally chilled out.
We managed to get some diving in whilst we were there and were actually diving in the Gulf of St Tropez which sounds a bit posh. The current was really strong though which I found difficult so I had to pull out of the first dive so I had to wait on the boat, got seasick , so did some snorkelling instead.
I'd definitely do a Eurocamp holiday again as the facilities and the staff were excellent. I can also recommend a Citroen C3 with Air Con if ever you wonder what compact holiday car to hire.
Roll on January now for our Egypt holiday...

Looks like a nice place. We keep saying we're going camping but we never quite get there. It's the idea of trekking to a loo on a camp site that puts me off.
The site was through Eurocamp and this one, La Residence, was is a place called St Aygulf near Frejus. Here's the link if it works... http://www.eurocamp.co.uk/cfm/campsi...&MasterCode=83 Oh, and you don't have to rough it (if you can call it that with a real bed, fridge and private loo/shower), they also do static caravans.
There is an excellent Aquapark nearby too where Al and I managed to spend the whole day, zipping down the rides and launching ourselves into tubes!
