Default Lovely, lovely, lovely!!!

Just got back from our weekend in Bath and we had a brilliant time

We werent as lucky with the weather as we were in York last year but it would've taken more than that to dampen our spirits!

We got there about lunchtime on Friday and the B&B was lovely - can thoroughly recomend the Athole Guest House if anyone is heading to Bath. Droppoed out stuff off and headed out to see what was about, had some lunch and a few drinks and went on a Ghost Walk on the Friday night which was really really good. Something happened that im not entirely sure about which shook me a bit!! It was -4 so was the right weather for being scared witless!

On Saturday we done all the touristy things - Roman Baths and a couple of museums and had dinner in a nice little italian restaurant. Were boring and stayed in in the evening as it was peeing down and we were knackered (made our own entertainment though !!)

On Sunday we took a drive out to Weston Super Mare and stopped in a couple of the beautiful little villages on the way. Found a pub in the middle of nowhere where we stopped for a Carvery Lunch which was

Last night we went to see Bridget Jones which was brilliant and then headed back to the room.

Everything was just great - the B&B, the brekkie, the location, everything. Would seriously recomend it to all.

Now, some piccies to bore you with!

The Abbey and me ready to brave the cold on Friday night!

Sounds lovely Paula. That abbey is gorgeous. I've never been to Bath but I'm thinking I need to go try it out sometime.

The name of the guest house made me titter, sounds like someone with a lisp trying to say asshole!

OMG!! Minus blinking 4! I take my hat off to you, I dont think I would have gone out in that without putting up a fight first.

Missed you!!

I'd booked this already when I found the Townhouse for you and although I did book the Townhouse after, I decided to stick with this one because of the car parking.

We were stood right outside the Townhouse on Friday night for the Ghost Walk - looked lovely.

Its a really lovely city.

Only if you promise not to laugh! And I did say I wasnt sure so its probably nothing.

As we were walking round a particular part of the walk - a Holly Tree to be exact on what used to be a dualing ground - I got a really funny headachey feeling and my eyes went very blury. I didnt think anything of it until at the end the guide asked if anyone had had any 'reactions' at any point. He said that many Psycics have said that at a point around said bush, there is a very compact and strong area of Spirit Activity and some people can experience Headaches or pins and needles as they walked past I didnt know that, he didnt know that I had so it freaked me a little bit.

And, as I told Karen a while back, a few things have happened recently that have been odd and this just added to it!

See, told you youd think I was a nutter

OMG Paula! I dont think you're raving mad.. I know you're raving mad.
Only joking lovey!

Seriously speaking, that is a spooky story and besides the cold, I would have loved the ghost hunt.

I completely believe in the spirit world.
