Smile Lovely weekend

We have had a lovely weekend. Vicki very kindly offered us her house for the weekend while she was away and so yesterday morning we went off to Scarborough for a break. My ex had Leanne took her off shopping for the day so she was really happy and Andrew was working all weekend so I didn't have to worry about the kids.

Had a lovely afternoon shopping and then went out for a few drinks and for an Indian. I had the best nights sleep I've had in ages - I am stealing your bed Vicki! This morning Brian left me in bed while he went for a walk into town and to get papers for us to flop and read. I didn't wake till 11.30 so must have needed the sleep. I've come back so much more relaxed.

I was going to go back to work this week but I don't feel ready and so aren't going yet. I went into one of the shops in the village on Friday and a woman asked me how my sister was. I couldn't speak just stood there and cried so I know going back to work this week is too soon. I've got one last weeks holiday to use up and then if I still don't feel ready will ask the doctor for a sick note for a week or so. I'm just going to take it a week at a time as regards work.

Even though I slept so late this morning I'm worn out lol. I suppose that's because while I have been awake I've done nothing apart from laze around reading but it's done me good.

Well done you, it's great that you've managed to grab some time out. It'll take time to refresh your batteries and it sounds as though you've made a good start.

Hopefully, everything is now coming together and you can move forward again and look to the future once more.

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

Take as long as you need Ang and go back when ready. No wonder you're worn out with all you've had to deal with recently and all the stress you've been under. It's very tiring!

Take your time and if you need a sick note, then get one. I was under a lot of strain nearly 2 years ago and ended up taking a month off sick to just relax and chill and it was the best thing I did. Totally recharged my batteries.

I am glad you had a good weekend and it was very generous of Vicki to lend her house!
