Default Swansea

I am off to Swansea next Friday, we are actually visiting friends, Bri usually goes on his own with a load of mates but his mate who moved there has met a girl so I am going with 2 friends as well this time, in all there will be 10 of us.

I was dreading it a few weeks ago but am now looking forward to just getting away. Planning on going to Gower/mumbles etc so the whole weekend is not spend drinking.

Anyone any recommendations

Im back and just about recovered we arrived about 3ish Friday afternoon, went straight to a Vodka Bar had few cocktails and naturally tried out a few of the vodka shots, the girlies went back to the hotel to get changed, some blokes stayed out then straight back out again at half six, went to Frankie 7 benny's for dinner then just moved from bar to bar.

My russian friend got really drunk and every time I turned round she was chatting to different blokes, (lots of very nice Welsh Blokes!) she ended up being sick in the club then back at the hotel.

Saturday went shopping as it was raining and down to the marina and basically more drinking and eating.

Found the age range there to be much wider than where we live not too many teenagers they ranged from mid twenties to sixities! there was a really nice vibe and quite relaxed considering all the bars had people spilling outinto the street did not see any trouble at all.

Also quite bizarre as they like dressing up and girlies don't wear much went into Y ates and was greeted by blokes dressed up as tennis players with curly black wigs, then up the stairs we had fairies and gangsters and a 60's theme, on entering the loos a load of munchkins complete with green faces and orange hair came out and then in the toilets there was builder, soldiers complete with fake rifles, police and traffic wardens and on top of all this the compulsory hen party with bunny ears/boppers to say I felt completley normal and over dressed is an under statement.
