Default Work Do pics

Well the O2 Premiere was fab last weekend, hotel was really nice and just 4stops on the tube from the Dome so all very convenient!

The concert was absolutely crackin', Dermot O'Leary opened the show and He just does it for me. We were right next to the stage so had the best view and managed to get some good photo's

My faves were Peter Kay who came on and did 2 sets, the 1st as a comedy act and the 2nd as Brian Potter in his wheelchair singing a melody of tunes about wheeling/rolling places. He got this guy to bump him down the steps of the stage and kept calling him a 'lazy b***ard' cos he was going so slow

2nd fave was Mr Tom Jones who was AMAZING live, he did some well funky blues stuff and his usual stuff and even had some knickers people had brought thrown on the stage which made him chuckle. He was a dude

Kaiser Chiefs were really good and got the arena bouncing, not my type of music tho to be honest but they were still really good.

We didn't stay for Basement Jaxx as not into all that dancy shite and was manic with 18000 people all trying to get on/off the tube from the Dome so we slipped out early and grabbed something to eat on our way back to the hotel.

Anyways, top weekend and all for free. Here's some piccies

So pleased you had a great time Niddy!

Jonathan was gutted we couldnt go (I was doing my Race for Life the same day!)

One of Jonathans colleagues had a good night - she and her husband got given a single bed to share back at the hotel. Her husband is 15 stone! What a squeeze they must have had

I heard some of the hotels weren't the greatest - some people staying in Travel Inn's and others at the Hilton yet they wanted everyone to have the same experience?

It was dead busy around the restaurants too, hence us leaving a bit earlier but was still a good weekend

Wow! What an amazing show. Can I ask what it was for? Also did it include all O2 employees? I used to work with the centre in Bury

As they've bought the dome they brought all staff down the day before the opening for a private concert. Yep all O2 employees and a guest were invited
