Default Help! Hotels in London

I am trying to work out a trip to go to my allergy clinic in London, i am going possibly in August, definitely on my own and i can get a direct train out there from London Victoria stn (it's near Epsom).

Has anyone got any suggestions as to places to stay? Just for one night. I am really nervous about being on my own so would prefer to stay somewhere nice rather than just pick somewhere.

Thanks in advance!

I've only ever stayed in crappy youth hostels in London - but I've found some places that look quite nice.

I'm working on the premise that you want to stay near Victoria? Not sure how good these are for distance....

Astors Hotel, Ebury Street, Victoria, London - Discount London Hotels

BW Premier Shaftesbury London Kensington Hotel, Hogarth Road, Earls Ct / Kensington, London - Discount London Hotels

Kensington Rooms Hotel, Cromwell Road, Kensington, London - Discount London Hotels

Twenty Nevern Square Hotel, Nevern Square, Earls Court, London - Discount London Hotels

There are loads on that site, but it depends how much you want to spend. But if you're wanting somewhere a bit different and nice, it's maybe a good place to start.

Hi Rach

As you know I live in London but having never stayed in a London hotel I wouldn't know where to suggest.

Central London has some very nice posh hotels i.e. the Dorchester or the Landmark but I think you are looking at paying quite a bit for them.

Sorry can't be more helpful - its funny when you live in a place you never really think about this sort of thing.

I always tend to have a quick look on laterooms.com to see if there are any deals, then I look at tripadvisor.com to find out what the hotel is really like.
