Default Going home tomorrow!!

Going home to scotland tomorrow for a week!! not been back since March so will be lovely to see family and friends and all lovely things scottish that I miss so much.............tattie scones, chedder cheese, B uchanan Galleries and Street for shopping, proper bacon, being able to walk in to a shop/cafe/bar and ask for something without thinking in advance for the right words, hills, scenery (its so flat here), drizzle (hopefully not!) and of course some tunnocks caramel logs mmmm. I think I'll be back half a stone heavier.

So good weekend to all and I'll be back late next week. xx

caramel logs are yummy chewy biscuity caramelly things coated in coconut type flakes - very bad for you I'm sure with lots of sugar but oh soooo good. Dying for one and a cup of scottish blend tea (it isn't the same without the scottish water - and thats a fact)

I never realised that caramel logs might only be in Scotland?

Now they sound absolutely fantastic, I have never seen them in England or Wales. I could just eat one of those now...

Oh have a good time! I'm back home now (Falkirk) but I used to miss it so much when I lived in London (and other various English places!). My mum always used to have a big mug of tea and a roll on lorne sausage waiting for me when I arrived home for a visit. Don't even start me on Caramel logs!!!
Enjoy!

Hope you have(have had) a fantastic time!

I'll be rather happy when we get a date booked to go back North of the Border, it's not my "home" but going there is like going home!

There is definately something about the water
