Default Yay! A family break for us :)

We're off to centre parcs at L ongleat on 10th december for 4 nights. We went to the nottingham one same time last year and it was magical, with all the lovely christmas lights etc.

As we moved house this year we decided to forfeit a summer holiday so I'm really excited that we're getting a break away

Anyone been to the L ongleat CP's? Any recs?

Lo x

Hi Lo, I went on a hen do...for the day earlier this year. Never been to Centre Parcs, so can't compare. The only thing I would say, on a negative slant, was that it was difficult to get about. I was with a lasy in a wheelchair, and we had to use the train. The train was fantastci, and my friend was treated like royalty...but they were pretty busy!
Other than that, we had a fab time....behaved like 5 year old and went on all the slides...watch out for the waves tho.....tarzan shouts and then they turn the waves on...baby 2 will love that! The accomodation was OK, some other friends had a cabin for the weekend. They had been to CP elsewhere, and said that it was as good as the other place they had stayed.

Hope you have a fabulous time!
Oh, my friend stayed there and said that she would recomend the safari park too...but leave your car in teh carpark and get the bus round the park...if you a fond of wing mirrors anyway.

Ooooh - I went last month, just me and Chris - it was fab. We had a lovely time - can really reccommend Huckleburys and the Sports cafe (the cafe was quite simple, but the customer service was fanastic).

We went to the pool, the spa etc, had a whale of a time. Also did archery and falconery which was amazing. They have a great bird hide and some fabulous walks.

We found the bikes a bit heavy going as Longleat is a little on the hilly side, fab going down the hills, but up the hill, we pushed.

There was some building work going on while we were there, but it wasn;t too intrusive unless you were right on top of it.

Enjoy
