N and i are off in February for a long weekend ending up with seeing Steve Earle at the Roundhouse
We're looking for some sort of deal, maybe a good deal on a hotel or flights or both but i just can't think where to look (apart from Thomsons/Thomas Cook etc).
Errr, these are recomendations, but maybe worth a try?
Last minute. com
Ryan air, easyjet or who ever you are flying with. We did this once and got a great deal...I think it was with Ryan??
Tripadvisor sometimes can be good too.
Hope you have a great time!

I'm not much good. We used to just park in my parents drive and get the train in

Some days it just isnt worth chewing through the leather straps in the morning!
Expedia can have some deals too so might be worth a look.
We went to London a few months ago and found it worked out cheaper to find the hotel ourselves and book it rather than going for a deal. We then found some cheap train tickets online.

Thank you! I haven't had much time to check these but i had a quick look on Last Minute. Despite it being well in advance and not last minute at all (!), they had some deals. Hopefully we'll get a chance to look at them soon
Rach can i reccomend something for when your there? Wrap up well and take an open bus tour, its quite expensive at £22 for an adult but well worth it as you can use the ticket for 24 hours and hop on and of the bus as you like and is the best way of seeing everything.

www.laterooms.com can be quite good for cheap hotel rooms at the last minute. We have stayed in some really plush hotels for about £60 a night for a room through them. Its worth checking the hotels on tripadvisor though, as some are amazing and some are a bit rough!

The mention of my child's name may bring tears to my eyes,
But it never fails to bring music to my ears.
If you are really my friend,
let me hear the music of her name!
It soothes my broken heart and sings to my soul!
