Default Anyone been to Madrid?
Rob, Grace and I are going to Madrid on the 28th Jan for my birthday and I was wondering if anyone can recommend places to visit? We arrive on the Mon evening and come home Thursday afternoon so have 2.5 days to spend sightseeing. Also remember that I will have an 18 mth old with me!

Can't wait!!

Jen - make sure you go to El Corte Ingles, the big department store. January sales, 20-60% off apparently....

Or there's Chueca, the 'gay' area, where there's supposedly lots of shoe shops - well, Spain IS the shoe country....

Hope you have a great time Jen, I think tripadvisor is ace for city breaks. Laurie went to Madrid with Wyatt when he was v small, you could PM her as she hasnt been on much recently. x
