After buying a tent this week we are actually going away for a week's holiday!!
One of our friends parents own a caravan park in Norfolk, & they have very kindly let us have a caravan free of charge for a week as it is the week before the 2 week spring break! so we will be up there for Jake's 4th Birthday!!
Just need to find some fun things to do now, inside & outside depending on weather!
That's excellent news Nessa. I loved caravan holidays as a child and my own kids in turn have loved them.
I can honestly say I don't ever remember being bored on any one of ours. It was so exciting as a child to be going somewhere different and staying in a caravan. Me and my sister went a lot with my grandparents and we'd always pack a little toy suitcase with some of our favourite toys so we had something to play with inside if it rained. I went on to do the same with my kids and it never cost a lot to enjoy those holidays.
Is it near a beach?

Some days it just isnt worth chewing through the leather straps in the morning!
I know where it is. I think you may be near Dawn if shes still out that way. Very close to the house we almost bought. Aldeburgh just down the coast is very nice

yes i know it's only a caravan, but to us it will be a 5* hotel!!
It's not only a caravan! It's a holiday and that in my eyes is the same no matter where you stay be it a tent in a field or all inclusive lap of luxury somewhere. A holiday is a holiday no matter where it is You don't have to go abroad to have a real holiday especially where kids happy with a beach are concerned

Ive loved caravans for as long as i can remember, theres something about waking up in a caravan thats really exiting( im a daft moo i am lol) and i cant remeber ever being bored either, with the beach either rainy or sunny i still loved it, and a day trip here and there...ahhhh great days!
caravan holiday are blimming expensive these days too, so lucky you for having one free for a week!
