Default Birmingham?

Hubby's working in B'ham at the end of March and M and I are going to stay with him in a hotel near Kidderminster. There isn't much to do at the hotel itself, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas where I could go during the day to entertain a 2 year old? I'll be there for 3 days. Any help would be much appreciated.

Severn Valley Railway is down there, and West Midlands Safari Park, Cadbury's World. Can't think where else.

Sealife centre in Birmingham (on the train from Kiddi is about 40 mins) - you can prob get vouchers etc with nectar points.
Museum / centre for child in central library in Brum, have a look at http://www.birmingham.gov.uk under the events section. There is also milennium point, which has the free science museum, lots of touchy feely tons of stuff to do for kids there, and it's all free.

If you have a car there is Bewdley, Severn Valley, Safari Park, lots of parks all nearby, google is probably your best bet x

Thanks very much, will have a mooch later. I will have the car so the railway and safari park sound really good. Best avoid cadburys - a bit selfish but I've given up chocolate for Lent and that would be far tooo much temptation!
