1. Where? Memphis, Tennessee

2. How Long? 12 nights

3. Which Hotel? Elvis Presley Heatbreak Hotel (2 nights) then Benchmark Best Western, Downtown Memphis (10 nights).

4. Highs - Being both big Elvis fans seeing Graceland for the first time. We both love Rock'n'Roll and Blues and to visit the birthplace of both was really excellent. We did all the usual things like Beale Street, Mud Island, Peabody Hotel (to see the ducks), Sun Studio, Gibson Guitar factory etc. The food is also out of this world and we both came back having put on weight! We were very glad to move hotels as, although the Heartbreak was nice, the area itself has nothing to offer apart from Graceland and a few souvenir shops.

5. Lows - Memphis is quite a run down area and there were lots of beggars (or panhandlers as they're known over there). However, there is lots of renovation going on and we think in a couple of years downtown in particular will be a very good place to visit. A week would have been plenty of time to see all the sites. Had we known this, we would have probably taken a few days at Tunica which has all the casinos!

6. Out of 10 - 7/10
