If you ever get the chance and can save up the fare, I can thoroughly recommend going to the Jolly Beach resort in Antigua.
It is one of the cheaper Caribbean islands but the service is still top, the people really friendly, the place is safe and you don't get sellers hassling you all day long. At full price you're looking at about £2500 for 2 people all inclusive.
I first went in April 1999 because my sister got married out there. I'd not long been with Bob and the tickets had all been booked so he didn't come but this year I persuaded him to go (and it took a lot of effort as he was very reluctant!!) so we went in March this year to the same resort.
It was even better this time - I was really worried that it wouldn't live up to my memories but it was ace!
Bob loved it so much he also wants to go back so I'm hoping to make it third time lucky next year - we're going to see if we can pick up a last minute deal this time though and save some pennies.
Here's some piccies...

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.
