Default Short Break

As we don't want to leave our son for too long after the wedding we are going awat for a short mid week break in march. I was hoping that some of you have got some ideas of where we could go. The weekend after we're taking Scott away with us and are thinking of Butlins or similar (if they're open) what do you think?

Barcelona is nice, we went there in May this year. You could manage that in 3 days easily. By the way we're getting married on a friday aswell.

European city breaks are quite reasonable, I've been to Stockholm and Paris before for a long weekend and am planning on going to Prague soon.

If you want to stay in the UK, how about a cosy cottage in the middle of nowhere so you can snuggle up in the warm? I often go to the Lakes or across into Scotland. I can recommend the New Forest too!

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

Oh and as for taking Scott away, what about Disneyland Paris? They usually do deals around that time of year don't they?
