SarahB (or anyone else that can help!)

We are thinking of going to Fuerteventura 1st week in march, just to get away. The best place that keeps cropping up is Corralejo, we just wondered if you would be so kind as to give us your top tips, please???

Well, happy to help
We went to Costa Calma and it was lovely but very quiet - all the nightlife revolves around the hotels and the guests are predominantly German so most of the entertainment is geared towards their tastes, it was a lovely resort but (great beaches - the best are in Jandia (we went there twice for the day) which is about a 30 - 45min bus trip but very cheap. Jandia was a lovely posh resort.

We went to Corralejo for the day and although it didn't seem as pretty as Costa Calma there were loads of bars and restaurants there and I think it is where the majority of the brits go, the beach looked pretty nice too.

How spooky! My mum phoned last night and said her and my dad will take the kids away in May for a week... theyre off to Punta Elena apartments in Corralejo ! You'll have to give me some feedback and let me know if its any good!

Hi!

I've been there too, Lo. Its fine if you like like tacky hols where you get steak and chips, beer and karaoke on an English menu.

If you prefer off the beaten track, I wouldn't go there.

Well, we've booked it, self catering in Corralejo, but we'll hire a car out there and go exploring. More interested in snorkelling and fishing than staying on the mainland though!!!

Will bear those points in mind Mel, we've had a restaurant recommended to us at the top of a mountain, so we're probably starve trying to find it

and we're very good at sniffing out the little local places too (Athens was a lesson to us!!!)
