Default who Skis?

We're beginning to think about possibly planning a trip for next January.

Who can tell me what it might cost? I've never ski-ed before and don't have a clue.

Anyone give me a breakdown?

I've skiied once or twice, I'm a bit crap. the best way is to go for a package with all your hire and lesosns included, otherwise it will mount up.

Most ski resorts are expensive to holiday in, but Bulgaria is obscenely cheap and the skiing is good. the food is a bit naff but it's edible.

I do, but have not been on an actual skiing holiday for some time so couldnt tell you the current prices.

You might find it more worthwhile to have a few lessons over here on a dry slope before you go. It will probably be cheaper, and if you learn on a dry slope here rather than spend half your holiday learning, when you arrive you'll be ready to hit the slopes straight away!

Agreed Bee, and if you can ski on that bloody dry slope stuff, you'll find snow a doddle!

I haven't been for over 5 eyars, but why not! Go for it - makes a fantastic holiday and I particularly enjoyed the apres ski!

I learned to ski in Andorra on a two week package which included everything but lunch! All flights, transfers, gear, lift passes, and lessons, along with brekkie and 3 course dinner and wine every night. It was fabulous value. ?Thompsons? Flew out of Manchester. The lessons were very good, we learnt in a week to go down hard slopes (we'd never done anything like that before). I'd recommend it as it was cheap, all inclusive, and had good snow and really good beginners areas.

Otherwise I can tell you about Australia, but that's a bit different!
