Nice, Monaco and Cannes
Hi there,
As you may know, my gorgeous hubby arranged a surprise long weekend in Nice last weekend.
We were there for 4 days and I thought i'd bore you stupid with the photos.
The place itself is absolutely beautiful and we had lovely weather every day.
This is Nice's main avenue - Les Promenade des Anglais.

Went to Monaco for the day. This is Steve outside the famous Hotel de Paris (went in for a quick drinkie afterwards - very swish!!!  )

This place was so cool - it's called (oh God I forget the exact name - the shame!  ) St Paul Defense. It was a huge place set on a hill like a sort of village fortress with thick stone walls all the way round it. Soooo cool!

Shhhhh J! Actually it was a very good cocktail - ingredients as follows (I wrote them down - how sad!)
Cognac
Amaretto
Kahlua
Creme fraiche (on the top)
Sprinkling of chocolate
Very very good for getting slowly mashed!

Ahhh lovely photos. Whenever we go anywhere we always end up with pics with only one of us in it - cos the other has to take it! We hardly ever get any of us together. Did you ask people to take them?

I was thinking that too!!
Matt said when we go to Cornwall we'll have to ask people to take the piccies (not so easy with our digital camera sometimes) or using the tripod! That way we'd get a few more piccies of the both of us!

We were quite lucky as we had a tour guide who kept offering to take piccies of us both.
I really love having us both in pictures - so much nicer than just one of us.
