hi there
everyone has a pic next to there name how do i get one??

sella,

if you go to the main page of the site and click on Profile at the top , there will be a menu with a few options on it, click edit options and then go to the bottom of the page where you will be able to add an avatar.

if you do a search on the web for free cartoons or something you should be able to find a suitable piccie, you then need to save it to your pc. and it needs to be under 50x50 pixels (i think!! ). (so just select a smallish piccie not one the size of the computer screen

)

im sure if you find a piccie and have any trouble resizing it etc bev will be able to help if you send her a PM.

ive copied what bev posted at the begining for you to have a read of it might make a bit more sense!!!

How do I get an Avatar?
Any user can have an 'Avatar' (one of them little icon thingies) underneat their username.

We have some default avatars for your choosing, or you can upload your own if you wish. Avatars should be no bigger than 80*80 pixels.

To add your own, or use on of our default images, do the following:

1. Click the Profile button at the top of the forum screen.
2. Go to Edit Options
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see the Avatar section. Click the 'Change Avatar' button.
4. You will be taken to a screen showing our default avatars. You can select one, or use the form below it to upload one from your hard drive. If you're doing the latter, make sure you have clicked the 'use custom avatar' radio button to enable you to use it.

That should be it!
