:confused:

New girl today!

Having trouble with the initial setting up of the avatars and getting to grips with smilies!

Not sure if it is just me being completely thick but there doesn't seem to be default avatars (unless I am looking in the wrong place - wouldn't suprise me).

Failing that - anyone know of any sites with cartoons on that I can pinch.

Feel like the new school girl who knows no-one and hasn't got all the right pens and pencils!

There are no default Avatars, you need to put your own on. Everyone seems to go for their favourite cartoon characters, or something else that reflects that personality, or whatever they want. If you're struggling, tell me what kind of thing that you're looking for and I'll find some options for you and email them to you.

Thanks for your help, I'll have a little look and see what i can find.

One more thing........obviously didn't pay enough attention at the user name bit!

Any chance it can be changed to something a bit less...erm boring!

Maybe something as exciting as perhaps just Tracey?!

I'll go away soon and stop causing you aggro - honest!

I feel exactly the same as you!!!! I cant find any pictures either and I'm not sure I like the "junior member" thing which appears under my name!! How do you get rid of it or at least change it!!!

Can we be newbies together!!!

Yippee, I've got a mate!!

Take's abit of getting used to this - we'll get there eventually!!

Still not quite sure how I'm doing with the smilie things - I thought I was coping with IT and all it's technology - never mind I'm sure you can teach an old dog new tricks!

When and where is your big day - mines August 2nd 2003. Ages yet, booked church and reception but that's about it.

How are you finding this - I think I read something somewhere but dont ask me where that said about changing from a junior member, maybe in the FAQ bit?

I found it!!!!!

If you look in the 'How to' bit and look for the 'how to change my status' thread - it tells you in there.

oh the excitement!!
