Deleting posts

Help!!! Why can't I delete my own posts when I do something wrong in them? I noticed it the other week when I posted one in the wrong section but Bron moved it for me.

Today I managed to get a smiley face on a post and asked why it was there, managed to work it out and get rid and went to delete the post asking why it was there and I can't!!

Surely I should be able to delete my own posts?

Can't think of an explaination at the moment. The usual answer is delete cookies and log back in?

Have done that. I've tried using a different browser too if it's that but nothing seems to work
