Red face New Bride :)
Hey everyone!!

My name is Kate and I just got engaged to my boyfriend of over three years on Christmas morning. The whole engagement shock is starting to wear off and I'm getting down to planning it all...but I have no idea where to start. It also doesn't help that my extended family (that's huge) is bombarding me with questions and plans of their own so I've been telling everyone "I don't know what's happening yet". The wedding is going to be August 13, 2011 so we do have time to plan everything well and get ready but I'm afraid I'm going to miss something. Anyways before I write a novel, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone getting ideas for everything

Wow thanks for the wonderful welcomes everyone!! I'm getting pretty excited about the big day August 13th (my wedding day) is the busiest day of the year in my community so needless to say there's a ton of things to work around but thankfully everything is starting to fall into place.

We've talked quite a bit about where we want it and we've decided either a large hall or an "outdoor in-the-garden" setting. Thankfully there are a lot of places like that around here locally so we have many places to choose from...we are hoping to have a place booked within the next 2 weeks
