Well, we've finally had our official pics taken. It had rained on and off all day so I was concerned that we couldn't have the outside shots taken but in true 'someones watching over you' style, the sun came out! We did have to navigate a few muddy paths on the estate but it was worth it!
I left my flowers at the studio when we went to the outside location so there's no pics outside with them although they are in the studio pics.
We're just waiting on the photos being uploaded to the photographers website so we can view them.

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.
The flowers are ivory roses (with the one yellow rose, in memory of my mum) with ornamental thistles. I thought thistles would be a nice touch for my american in-laws
I thought the florist did a fab job!
