2nd Anniversary been and gone!

So Monday was our 2nd wedding anniversary and we decided not to go away this year so last Friday we went to London for the day, spent few hours round Oxford Street then headed over to Waterloo and went to a cuban restaurant for lunch, there was a festival on at the same time.

We had booked a film at the Imax for 1.30pm then went on the London Ducktour at 3pm (Highly recommended) drove round all the sights for about 50mins then in the Thames for half Hour, we then had booked a Tapas restuarant in regent Street and finally went to see The Sound Of Music which was excellent. Crashed into bed about midnight Knackered.

Saturday we had friends over for a barbie and got quite drunk, sunday we slept!!!. Then Monday went to cambridge and out for dinner at our local pub so all in all a nice weekend.

My darling hubby also bought me the same roses I had in my wedding bouquet which he picked up from the florist on the way back from cambridge after I had saif " what no flowers" How bad did I feel

Congrats Blimey you fitted a lot in one day! My friend raved about the duck tour too so I really fancy it now.

You must do it, it took me back to all the old lovely tourist sites I have not seen since a kid on a school trip as we only live 20min train ride away, we kind of take London for granted, I was a bit worried about it going into the Thames as I get bad sickness but luckily the Thames was quite calm.

The people that do the tour come out with some weird facts about buildings that you wouldn't usually get on the old bus tours
