I'd like to find out everyone's ideas on what makes a good anniversary date.

On our last anniversary, me and my hub went to London, popped onto the London Eye (bit drizzly, unfortunately) and took a river boat down the Thames - which had humorous and interesting facts about London (did you know that the lions that face the needle were meant to be facing away from it, protecting it. The contractors couldn't read the instructions properly!).

Then we spent the evening stumbling from bar to bar along the Thames walk.
