I'm back and this area is where I should be now!
Hi all!
I've not been here for quite some time but I've had good reason - honest!
I married in June 2003 and in August this year my husband decided he no longer loved me and walked out.
Although I knew there were problems I could never get him to talk to me - so just over two years after my marriage my divorce is underway. He also told me that he hadn't loved me for at least 18 months but as he had no money and nowhere to go he didn't tell me!
It was a shock I must admit but I am more upset for our little boy who isn't coping well.
I have moved on although there have been the tears and tantrums I decided to devote my energies to my family.
So - yes, I am starting again. There is a man in my life, someone who was a dear friend before this trouble and has been a rock since.
I hope to get back in touch with everyone and catch up with all the news.
Take care
Laura
Oh by the way - you know how I could never lose much weight before my wedding? Well Ive lost 4 stone and am now a size 14! Way different from the size 20 I was when I married!

Hello Stranger, been wondering where you were!!
Sorry to hear your time away hasn't been a great one, but it's certainly good to see you back!
How's your "baby" doing in the Green Machine? Is she still there? Whenever we for a drive around here and see the signs for Winchester Matt comments about his basic training, and I think of how your daughter, and you of course, are doing!

Hiya!
my daughter is doing fine - passing out from the music school on 8th Dec and is hoping for the Blues and Royals as her regiment. If she gets in then she won't be home for Xmas as they start riding training on 27th Dec!
She is still loving it - her boyfriend is back in the Paras now and continuing his training at Catterick. The rest of the family are all fine, becoming slightly less work the older they become!

Hi Laura
I was only thinking of you last night... weird!!
It's lovely to have you back although I wish the circumstances were different. I'm sorry to hear you've had a tough time but it sounds as though you have come to terms with it and have moved on, which is great.
Congratulations on your new fella, I hope he treats you right and as you deserve. Well done on the weight loss too, do we get to see any new pics?
Take care,
Lauz

Will remember a mother who had time to play;

There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

Hi Laura!
I was thinking of you about two weeks ago as I was thinking of your wedding dress for some reason and so wondering how you are.
Sorry about your marriage break up, it sounds like you have been through the mill but are in a good place right now, and well done on the 4 stone loss, that has got to have helped your confidence, well done love.
How is that gorgeous little boy of yours? Any updated pics on him? Still haven't forgotton he and A are almost twins
Lovely to hear from you x

Hi Laura, I also thought about you the other week for the exact same reason as Rools, i saw a dress which reminded me of yours, and also on our anniversary as you were my twinnie!
Sorry you're not back under happier circumstances, but all the same it's great to see you!!!

It is great to have you back, whatever the circumstances. Alas I cannot claim to have thought about you recently, but I realised that I have missed you now that you are back!
All that I have done recently is breed!
