Last dress fitting - Wedding Forum

I've just been for my last dress fitting.....I pick it up on Tuesday afternoon. The woman has made a lovely job of the adjustments and it fely wonderful to wear but when I looked in the mirror all I saw was this huge elephant size person and I could have cried. Now instead of feeling really excited I feel bad

Oh well.....too late now

You can't be elephant siaed because your dress is just perfect and fits you!!! You'll look absolutely gorgeous!!

Oh, I bet you're sooooo excited that you're stressed

Keep calm and really look forward to your wedding, you've put so much hard work in.

Aww Laura, dont feel like that - you're going to look stunning on Saturday and like Heather and Beth have said, your dress fits you perfectly.

I really hope this doesnt spoil the last few days of the run up for you as you have put soo much hard work into organising this.

Thanks....I'm sure I'll feel better soon....I'm in so much pain with my arthritis right now (probably cos I've overdone things) and the acupuncture hasn't helped the pain, I think I'm just a bit down.
I know I'll be fine and I'm really looking forward to the day, I just hope I'm not in this much pain when it comes!

laura your not an elephant your an amazing beautiful woman whose getting married in a week! a tip for you re the arthritis is to take any pain meds you have in the morning of the big day also excitment will take over i was fine and even managed to dance most of the night away!!
