Default Wedding weekend

Went home this weekend to sort out invitations, and managed to get them all done and sent off - only a few to deliver by hand left now. Also had our first reply from one I delivered personally - how exciting!!!

Also did a provisional seating plan - took about an hour - I thought it would take days as we've got 140 people!!!

Mum noticed that I'd lost weight since I last saw her - only about five weeks ago - that made me feel like everything was worthwhile!!

Also had a meeting with the vicar and have almost planned the service. Had a list of costs - £80 for bell ringers - do you think it's worth it, or will people not even notice if we don't have them?

Feel like it's all coming together. Only major headache is bridesmaids shoes - anyone any advice on where to find sandals with low heels that are really plain so they could be worn again?

What??? £80 for a bell ringer??? I'll do it for a tenner and bring own bell (I am sure I could pick on up in a pound shop!!).

Shoes, there are some plain but good ones in Shelly's at the moment and also in Aldres...that's where I got my BM shoes, low enough heal (as 3 out of the 4 are taller than me!) and plain silver little strappy ones....and only £20!!!! (but don't look it!!, well I don't think that they do anyway!).

I saw those shoes in Barratts and they are lovely. You could also try Faith and Debenhams. Or how about BHS, they seem to do loads.
