I just called my aunt to tell her that I have bought a tiara and now wont be using hers ... she seemed ok about it but I hope she doesn't now hate me

I have used hers for all of the fitting etc, just so happens that I also found something medieval and crown like which i think will go really well.

Oh, I think she'd understand It's your wedding day and she'll want you to be happy! And you used her tiara for all the special occassions of trying your dress on. May be a little thank you gift for allowing you to use it would make you both feel better?

Oh thats a great idea! I did use it for all my fittings etc and had every intention of using it on the day (until i found the other!).
