Default 25 Days to go!!

I have 25 days to go to the big day!! I just feel so very emotional.
I am going this afternoon to sort final arrangement with the florist and tomorrow i have to go pay the caterers, give them the final seating plan and pick up the bridesmaid dresses. It all seems so very real.
H2B has invited everyone around to our house the night before the wedding for a bar-b-que, which i just know i am going to end up cooking! He has done this as three quaters of the people coming to the wedding are travelling to be herefor us, he feels guilty that they are paying so much to come and stay in hotel etc that he feels we should constantly entertain them........i must admit i sort of agree with him...but why our house!!
Never mind i am sure it will be so much fun......and i think i will refuse to cook as i am having a manicure on the Friday and i would hate to chip my nail varnish (thats my excuse and i am sticking to it....lol)

25 days to go!

I agree with the bbq thing, tell him you cant possibly cook because you'll wreck your nails. plus, you're the bride! You'll have other things on your mind, let someone else do it.

You need to relax on the night before your wedding.

I'm sure (knowing most of the BBQ's i've been to) that most of the blokes will end up taking over the barbie anyway whilst drinking beer.

Take it as an opportunity to relax and DON'T be shang-hai'd into doing the work.

I'm sure you'll have a lovely time.

Wow, only a few more weeks to go.

Definately agree about the BBQ, there is no way you can do any cooking and risk ruining your nails.

Relax and have a great time.

Yep.....22 and half days and i feel sick with excitement...everything is done now....favours made.....wine bought......table plan.......everything is paid for i feel like i am just sitting twiddling my thumbs at the moment.

The only thing is i have just had a phone call to say a cousin of mine cannot come to the wedding...he has been waiting months to join the army and his date has come up and it's a couple of days before the wedding. However i am excited for his as it is something he has wanted to do since he was a kid. However i think i can fill his place quite easy ...which i would rather do than loose out on the money for the meal etc!!

I wish I felt that excited Gail! We've only just begun to pay for things and I haven't even started doing the table plan properly. (Must remember to chase the last RSVP) Everything has more or less stalled until we find another photographer Oh well, hopefully we can sort that tomorrow morning and then get on with everything else!!!

Not long at all........ how exciting!!

I like the BBQ idea too... frineds of ours went the day before their sister (S-I-L) wedding for a "Family BBQ"... they had a great time & said it was really relaxed.

Plus as others have said "ME MAN, ME COOK BBQ".... you won't have to lift a finger!

Well, whichever way you approach your last 22 days of singledom, I'm convinced you're both going to get it all on track and have a great time!

Deep breaths now!
