Well....I finally did it. I went to see my dad tonight. We chatted about nothing for two hours and the wedding wasn't mentioned once. Oh well, it will keep my brother happy as I did promise him I would go visit him. It was an effort and I still feel as thought I was there to apologise for something. He gave me a card with £100 in it and a belated birthday card for my son who was 9 last week with £10 in it.
I still don't reckon he'll come...and I'm still trying to work out what thing I've done that is so bad he's snubbed me.

Well done you..... I know how hard it must have been to have gone to see you dad, plus how even harder it would have been to have not been able to speak about your joy of your upcoming wedding!!

At least you know you've been to see him, you can't be "frowned upon" for not going!

Be strong, and remember it's nothing you've done, it's just something that you dad is trying to deal with & come to terms with.

Try not to let it get you down too much (easier said than done I'm sure), look forward to your amazing day!
