Well....I finally did it. I went to see my dad tonight. We chatted about nothing for two hours and the wedding wasn't mentioned once. Oh well, it will keep my brother happy as I did promise him I would go visit him. It was an effort and I still feel as thought I was there to apologise for something. He gave me a card with £100 in it and a belated birthday card for my son who was 9 last week with £10 in it.
I still don't reckon he'll come...and I'm still trying to work out what thing I've done that is so bad he's snubbed me.

Laura, you have done the right thing by going to see him. It might not have changed things on the surface but it just has to have affected the deeper rivers.

I just get the feeling that this coupled with you feeling your mums presence the other day just a few days before your wedding all bodes well and positive for your big day

I really think you have done all you can now Laura. You've bent over backwards to please him.

Dont let it effect you on Saturday if he doesnt turn up. You've tried, you'll still have the most amazing day ever

Laura, you know full well that you have done nothing to deserve any snub - this is your dad's problem, not yours!

Just try to enjoy your day and not think about it too much!
