Nottingham - help - Wedding Forum

I'm having my hen party in Nottingham this August and i have just been sent a break down of venues that are included in our package from the company we have booked it through.

If anyone knows Nottingham, can I please ask for you opinions on the following venues:

*Comedy club - Jongluers

*Night clubs - Cuba Libre or The Palais

We have to choose one of the two night clubs, which one would you recommend? My party is mainly made up of 20 year olds.

Oh and what is the Hilton Hotel like because that is where we are staying?

The Hilton in Nottingham is fine, you should have a nice stay (I deal with travel at work, most Hiltons are nice)

Jongulers is great, you could stay in there for the nightclub part.

Don't know about Cuba Libra. Palais is one of the oldest clubs in the city (my mum used to go there when she was young). It looks a bit of a dive from the outside but have never been into it.

Both clubs are the other side of the town from Jongulers so it could be a bit of a treck.

If you can stay at Jongulers it would be ideal.

If you can change clubs there is also a new club called The Works which is good.

Overall Nottingham is a good night out.

Forgot to mention. The Hilton Nottingham is nice. It has just been refurbed. Also The Works nightclub is just over the road from it

Thanks everyone.

I'm planning to have a chat with the rest of my party about the nightclubs...my h2b's grandmother is coming (don't ask) so the nightclubs might not be appropriate so we might just stay at Jogleurs for a while and then go to a few bars at the Lace Market.

Hopefully it will be a great evening!!!
