Reception people have said it's ok for the boat to come back in mid- evening do, as long as it's going to go out for longer than just another hour. H2B after much pushing from me phoned them at work this morning. He's getting trained.

And I tried on my first ever wedding dresses today!!!

I've never been so nervous in my life! AND it was at Pronuptia in Southampton! I've heard really bad things about Pronuptia re: nasty personal comments and making their dress sizes too small. But I tried on a 12!!!! Admittedly it wasn't a Pronuptia, but an Amanda Wyatt, but it looked fab! I'm actually a 14 but I tried on a 14 and it would need altering to make it a bit smaller for me! And
to my SiL2B who informed me I'd have to have an ivory dress because I'm so pale. I tried on ivory (cos that's all they had in that style) and it looked hideous on me! The dress looked dirty on me! I then tried a white one on in another style, and the woman in the shop and my CBM all agreed I need to go for white! Yay! So that slots into my fire and ice theme nicely.
My CBM's face was a picture when i came out in the first dress, so I think I definitely have to go for a dress in that style. It was a two piece, with a fishtail skirt and ruched front of the skirt with a bit of a train. The bodice was strapless and had sparkly bits on the front. The woman in the shop said it showed off my figure!

So feeling all lovely and even more committed to my diet now!! I'm so glad I'm tall, It'd be weird trying to visualise your dress when it's draping several inches along the floor. SO I think with heels I won't need alterations for the height.

I was really really nervous but now I can't wait until July 12th, when I go with my mum to try on more dresses. The shop we're going to then has some gorgeous designers there, so I'm hoping to get "the one" from there!!!

I think I know the dress you mean by Amanda Wyatt, if it's the one I am thinking of, it's a stunner!
