Saturday October 2nd 2004!!!!

We've decided to go for a church wedding and are getting married in the church where my parents live. They got married there and I was also christened there. Its St Mary Magdelene Church in Bognor Regis.

We've found a lovely hotel for our reception too. Its the Royal Norfolk Hotel on the sea front in Bognor. Its really nice and so we've paid the deposit and woman I've been speaking to seems lovely and really helpful. The menu's look lovely too but we've a while till we have to decide about that. Oooh I'm getting all excited now and can get stuck in to the planning. Whats the next thing to do? I guess looking for a photographer.

The dress hunt can begin soon as well then. When should I start looking?

Your hotel looks lovely, and I agree with J, try and sort our your photographer next. They get booked up soo quickly!

As to your dress, I bought mine a yr before so go any time

The more time you have, the longer to make up your mind and try lots on!

Congrats!!

We are just going through venues and about to set a date for like the millionth time (long story)!!

I agree, photographer next. Some advice about the dress...even if you think you have found 'the one' in your 1st outing, continue to shop around. I didn't (when we last booked our wedding) and regretted it. But now we are starting from scratch, I can look again!
