Default question for nikki!! (or anyone else that had a red dress!)

Hello!!

What colour flowers did you carry?? I have a red dress and wanted red roses but I don't think they will show up which would be a bit of a waste...... what colour did you have?? Has anyone got any pictures they can show me because I need to get this sorted out and I'm at a bit of a loss!!

HELP!!

Thanks,

Gilli

I am having red gerberas with black centres, with the addition of pale pink anthiriums to lighten up the bouquet. My friend didn't have a red dress but she had a gorgeous bouquet of red calla lillies with a lime green flower which worked really well.
If you don't want to add another colour to your bouquet then some foliage is your best bet and looks fab

I don’t want to hijack your thread but what colour are you painting your nails, I know it sounds daft but it’s summat that has been bugging me!!!

nikki (in her absence ) had red roses and lots of green foliage which looked totally gorge. it also made it very festive looking since she and nick had an xmas wedding. hth

as for nails i think the vast majority of brides go for french polishes.

Mine was deep red and gold, and I had white and cream flowers

I think white/cream/red cream would be lovely

only just saw this due to the demands of motherhood (my son does not understand my need to Groove!)... but thankfully Lo posted that rather gorgeous piccie of my bouquet.... my florist talked me out of cream, she said red on red would be really dramatic. She got the very very dark red roses and some ordinary ones and I have to say, it looked great!
