Who are you having as your witnesses?? Is there a tradition that I can break??

have whoever ya want babe!!!
we had our best man and bridesmaid but the mums can do it or dads or siblings if they'rold enough...........the list goes on!!

Hi Gilli

we are having a civil wedding on the 14th december this year and I have my best friend (from age 8) being my witness and i think my other half has opted for his Brother even though we have another friend as best man.

Not sure what the traditions are apart from often having chief bridesmaid and the best man.

My one bridesmaid is only 10, and I have too many best friends that I have been a bridesmaid for to have them all !

I don't think there's a protocol as to who you have... you can have 2 strangers from the street, the cleaners etc etc

We had my friend (known since I was about 6 and was a MASSIVE help in the run up to the wedding after my ex-mate & ex-bm went a bit loopy) and we had Matt's best friend.

I think that's a lovely idea having a parent each!

I think you can have anyone you like. We are having a church wedding and haven't decided who to ask yet. Will possibly have my sister who is also going to be my bridesmaid and the best man. Are also thinking of asking both the dads to do it though.
