we have around 50 on our list - but I am just worried that the church will look empty!
We are having around another 120 to the evening reception which will be fairly full....
What dates are you getting married??

So far on the list, which has been scaled down an awful lot, down to lack of space at the reception, we have 120 or less. But those that aren't invited to the reception are also invited to the church if they want to come. Just our reception venue has table and chair space for 120 only.

Really pleased that the place we're getting married can only hold 56 in the ceremony room! Has certainly helped cut down on costs! For the evening total of about 130.

As the list currently stands there are 37 guests to the whole event! (39 people including me & Matt)
It's only a small civil ceremony & "sit down buffet" so we'd always been planning on around 40!
Is going to be just right, only people we really want there will be there (so no one who's there just to make up numbers, so to speak). Neither of us are into "BIG" weddings so this is just exactly what we want!

Depends on acceptances, but I guess we'll have about 70 to the day and another 20 to the evening (but the 2 really merge into each other anyway).

Completely agree with you Heather. We're having about 45 to the whole day. My parents both come from big families, but quite frankly I do not want a load of people I hardly know at my wedding.

We're having 120 people to the entire wedding. Decided not to invite any extras to the evening.

We're having 13 guests to the wedding and wedding breakfast and at least 150 to the evening reception.
We didn't want a big wedding so we're just having immediate family during the day and then a big doo at night.

I think we're having about 110 plus a few more for the evening.
That's if everyone turns up of course.

Hi,
We are having 29 guests in total (including me and H2B and 4 children) to the service and breakfast and then we've invited about another 150 to the evening reception, although pretty certain a few will deline so maybe about 160 -170 in total for the evening.
I went to a reception on Saturday night and it was sooooo exciting to think that will be me in just under 12 weeks!

we are having about 50 odd to the whole thing as we live an hr and a half away from everybody so its not fair to expect peeps to travel up for just an evening reception so we are inviting everyone to the whole thing. im not really into huge weddings where you dont even know most of the people there but h2b is! so we have had to compromise a bit but we will get there in the end (in one and a half yrs lol)!

Since we've got a free bar all day (which is what you have at dutch weddings) we're inviting some guests only for the afternoon reception. We've got about 75 people who are going to be there all day, and another 50 or so who'll just be there for the afternoon.

We invited about 250 people all in all, but i think (if my calculations are right!) the final numbers are...
60 to the ceremony and meal (but everyone is welcome to come to the church if they way.. just cant afford to feed them so they'll have to bugger off down the pub for a bit!)
Then about another 125 to the evening do...
EEEEK! lol
