I'm feeling proud...
Look what fun things I did this weekend!!
I'm quite proud even if I do say so myself (although Mel actually set it up for me!!).
It's not finished, but i thought I'd let you lovely people have a look so I can revel in my smugness and enjoy your cooing!!

Just some feedback on the colour scheme...the colours are a bit harsh on the eyes, that blue against the purple is very difficult to read, and the mustard yellow with purple, black and lilac and royal blue just doesn't seem very umm coordinated or weddingy, but then it's up to you.

The colours aren't showing up like that on my screen. It looks nice. Also, the principal colours are Roz's colour scheme for the wedding - purple, green and gold (very regal. not everyone goes for pastel colours for a wedding!!)
If you would like to change the colours though, Roz, here's a colour chart reference thing (which incidentally shows that these colours do coordinate).
http://www.colorschemer.com/online/
You just take a note of the colour reference and replace the ones in the webshell.
I think you've done a great job!

I don't doubt that purple, green and gold look great. It's just that the colours chosen are obviously not supported by all web browsers so it might be a good idea to change them other wise the guests might get headaches. When I looked there was no green in sight and lots of pastel lilac, also black and a very vivid blue as well as purple and a golden yellow, so somethings up!

When Mel set it up for me she said the colours might be a bit funny - and they are different on different computers. I may well have a play around with them and see if I can make it a bit lighter - I didn't know how, but I do now!!! (thanks Mel!!)
It's all great fun though! I've got a real sense of achievement now!

Roz, sorry it sounds like I'm being horrible about your site, and it's great (just the colours). We are working on ours and I know they are loads of work. There isn't a smilie for diging out of a hole... there also needs to be one for stop digging when you're making things worse!!!

Eleanor, you're fine, don't stress!
It's good to get feedback before I go "live"! (whenever we post our invites!
I do want to change the colours I think as the green is very dark - as Mel and I talkeds about to start with - apparently she's got a fancy flat screen and it shows up better on that!

Hi Roz,
I'm really glad you're enjoying it. I really enjoyed making my sites too.
I realised the colours might show up slightly differently, but only because someone told me - i've not been able to see it for myself because the pc's I use seem to have no problem with it.
They didn't say they were terrible though. If I'd known that I would have set it up differently for you Roz.
Did anyone have this problem with my site or ness's?
thanks.
Mel

I think that's probably the general idea - I expect we'll produce a load of business cards saying "for further information please visit... or contact my Mum and Dad..."
I'm hooked now though and can't stop changing the colours - so apologies to those of you who visit this afternoon and can't quite cope!
I've added a visitor counter and a count-down too, I tried to add a game but it went all wonky so I'll try that again later...
Yippee!! It's such fun ( ) I think I'm a bit of a nerd really...

Dear Roz
Just thought I'd say I love your website ... I wish I could make one but I'm so awful at using my computer, I can't even manage to put on a picture at my status thing (or work my scanner that I got for Christmas)!

I'm rubbish too! Mel did all the hard work on mine and I just fiddled yesterday and added text and pictures where she'd put the prompts...

Hi Roz just to say the new shades are much better - I like the home page best (it's lighter still)- I can see that what I thought was black is actually green!
