Hi all, I know you don't need to know, and I don't need to tell, but there is no one at work I can tell. I'm off in half an hour to try on my dress again. I'm really going to pay the rest of the money, but thought, if I'm there I should try it on again. I've lost a stone so it should be a bit big now. I had planned to take photos but forgot my camera, so I'm going to get a disposable one on the way. I won't see it again until the fitting at the end of May. I haven't shown you lot before so heres a link to the dress piccy - I don't know how to get an actually picture on here.
http://www.alfredangelo.com on the Bridal 2002 section second page style 1560 (or use the search function) if you clink on elargement you can see the detail and back as well. It's pale ivory with very pale pink beads and lace daisy flowers on the bodice and on the train.
I'm currently planning to have the sleeves removed, but not sure if that will ruin it - I didn't want short sleeves - I feel it's a bit little girly.
Anyway wish me luck! and my credit card!!!
Eleanor

I think it's very pretty, and if you can't be girly on your wedding day, when can you?
Some of the Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses are lovely too. Does anyone know roughly what they cost? I might have to phone pronuptia and that's just a bit of a fag...

Well, I'm back. I still love it which is good, and it was bigger on me - also good. I took some pictures so I may in the future be able to scan them and post them up. And it is all paid for now.
Roz they didn't have any Alfred Angelo Bridesmaids dresses -just their own, Kelsey Rose and another with Charles in the name. And they were all £220 - £300.
I also went into Monsoon - the Maidstone branch has a big bridal section - and tried on their beaded wedding shoes which I love so I think that may be sorted (although at £75 twice my budget) and they have some great tiaras at about £30 and loads of cute FG bits. I am waiting for a peachy pink skirt they have in their brochure to come in as I think it could be right for my BMs, but it's not in the shops yet. (for those of you buying a dress at the last minute they have lots there and big changing rooms with very attentive staff.)
Anyway, thanks for saying you like my dress.

Glad it all went well Eleanor!! Shame they didn't have any bm dresses - I'll just have to have a very peculiar conversation with the people at Pronuptia here.
Have you found a veil yet? I was in Virgin Bride at lunch time (shoe shopping) and they had a fairly long chiffon Joyce Jackso veil and I'm sure it was only £80... unless it was 800 or 180 or something!! Anyway I though of you so I thought I'd let you know....

Thanks, I've not been there yet although H2B has (looking for suits) and said I should check it out for accessories and things. Do you ahve to order veils too or do they have them in stock?
