Getting Worried - Wedding Forum

Morning All!

Well today is my Friday which is good for me!!! and then I'm not in work until Monday night!!! YUCK!!

Anyway, I am getting extremely worried about Ian.

The past couple of weeks, he has got so interested in the wedding, it's a bit scary!! for example the wedding rings, and the table names.

Last night however, totally took the biscuit! He suggested having dancing lessons for our 2nd dance which is Andy Williams Can't take my eyes off you, especially for the boppy bit in the middle!!

So anyone know any good dancing schools in the Farnborough area??!

PS:- Apart from J who's other half is taking an interest in the wedding!?

My H2B Rob has started to show glimmers of interest.....I've only really just started planning, we have set a tentative date for october 2 2004 and he claimed that he was scared because i have already started to request brochures etc and have decided on my gown, the last night out of the blue asked about us using a horse and carriage instead of a car!!

Don't complain Ness... lucky you.

Dan has taken virtually no interest in the wedding plans at all. He has had input in certain areas - but its difficult getting him to talk about it... he jsut kinda switches off and looks very vacant. But to be fair to him he is completely swamped at work and working bloody hard!

Oh well.... guess thats men for you... or my man anyways! No point in getting upset about it.

I went to a wedding at the weekend, got very emotional actually

and dont normally at weddings, anyway..........it was pretty good cos David really noticed how much we have to organise and actually took an interest

- sorry just had to let myself know I wasn't dreaming - so now I've got to write down a list of all the things I want him to sort out and he's actually not objected to it

- No, still not dreaming

Matt's always had an intrest in planning the wedding! So much so, there have been things that I haven't been allowed to do until he's been here on leave!
He sorted out the hairdressers, the florists......

He's just been FAB!

hi all

my situation is quite funny. I choost things i like and ged either says yes or no and thats the final decision. Thats great for me cos im in control mainly and he just has a second opinion. even though he will sit with me if i ask him and look at brochures of gowns etc so thats good im sure nearer to the time though he will take more interest in mattres as hell be wanting to see where is money is disappearing to so quickly

We are both very interested but mostly in differnt parts. which has worked out nicely. The research work has been pretty fairly split and then we get together and say...look what I found... most times we have the same taste so decisions are really easy.
Gordie has been really involved from the begining. He keeps saying "well it's my wedding too and I won't get another chance so move over I want to drive..." It's really quite sweet.

That is really nice - AS Dave has been married before he is letting me do most of the driving but i keep making him do stuff to get him involved as my parents don't want to get involved because they say that it is too far off and would you believe my dad hasn't told anyone I have told our relatives.... not that i am his only daughter of anything...
