Default Where can I get cheap Goldfish Bowl vases?

Hi

New person here and looking for some advice.

Where can I get some cheap goldfish bowls from for my centre table decoriations? I have tried most petshops and Ikea/Asda dont have them. Petshops seem to charge about £25.00 for them and the plastic ones look very cheap.

Any ideas? I would hire them but cant find that either. I have found some for £20 but for 10 tables its still a fortune.

Thanks

Firstly and to Groovy!

My friend is having fish bowl centre pieces (complete with fish!) at her wedding next month and shes hired them from her florist.

Is it worth calling around and seeing if any in your area offer this?

Hope you find something

What about somewhere like kitchen spoils or those big homey warehouse places like Au Naturelle.

WELCOME TO GROOVY btw!

You can get glass vases which are round like gold fish bowls - maybe look for those too?

Hi and welcome to Groovy.

Have you tried any home shops as I've seen vases a bit like that in some.

hi girls

thanks a lot for your replies. i might become a regular on this site after being banned from "hitched" through work so hope to "see" more of you !!!

it all looks a bit complicated though !

I have looked in homestore places but the cheapest i have seen is £20 and its just too much (although i could sell them after)./ florist dont want to hire out vases unless you have them do your flower but i have a fab florist who works from home who is quite cheap so I want to use her.

Will have to keep looking

BC, hope you enjoy it here. Yes, Groovy even has a resident boy, it just has everything

If you need any help with how this place works, give me a shout and I'll talk you through it.

Have you tried Matalan? We got our glass centrepiece bowls from there, although they were for candle thingies.

Anyway, good luck!

Jx
