Default When to take out wedding insurance?

When is the best time to take out wedding insurance?

So far me and Jonathan have both of our venues booked and also our photographer...

Should we be looking into that now?

Any advise appreciated?!

Also, can anyone recommend some fab companies to take out wedding insurance with?

Many Thanks,

Love Karen-xx

Hiya

I'd say now! We got insurance straight away so if for some reason your venue cancelled then you are covered.

It doesn't cost more the longer you have it (ie 2 years away etc) but it covers from the date you buy it so better to be safe than sorry.

We ended up getting M&S Wedding Insurance (I didn't know they did it either!) and it cost about £50.....

Get on with it lassie!!

thanks decords, will speak to jonathan tonight and tell him to get something sorted... he's the better in dealing with that kind of thing.

that sounds a good deal with M&S... no i didn't know they did it! i was never really sure at how much insurance cost...

cheers me dear!

i got m&s and they were really good, lots of info when you join.

think you can get at any time. even before you book.

they were really good when we almost had to cancel cause phils dad went into hospital for an op, but managed to get out 2 days before the wedding as his op was cancelled till a few days after the wedding, phew!!
