h2b needs a new, bespoke, made to measure suit but dont really want to pay more than £500 for it - everywhere else here in London seems to be £800 upwards for bespoke.
Does anyone know any good tailors that do bespoke suits that are reasonably priced and not some old mans double breasted dad type suit in the manchester/north west area??
I live in the Midlands though so can't help on local suppliers...
I saw a really nice suit in that new wedding mag shaped like a book, it was the one where the bride had blue BM's..kind of had a pink thread going through in squares and then he had a pink tie and shirt..so trendy.
You could try house of fraser or somewhere, buy off the peg and then they alter it to fit perfectly for about £60.

its not that he wants something unusual, jsut a nice normal
fashioanbly cut suit.
thing is, at 6"4 he isnt the shortest guy in the world and is also quite thin, so he doesnt want to look like his jacket is still on the coathanger when he has it on!!
Its not really a matter of getting a suit altered as suits just all round dont fit him and you can only lenthen the arms about an inch which just isnt enough unforuantely.
He needs one that is totally made to measure for him, from scratch. We have tried house of fraser, liberties, selfridges and apart from Saville Row where they are £800 upwards we jsut dont know anywhere.

Me either hello and wow thats an expensive suit, but then things are cheaper in scotland then in london.
