Sorry for the delay laydeez, you’ll be pleased to know that Saturday was blooming marvelous!
I had 14 for tea. We had cucumber, smoked salmon, ham, egg mayo finger sandwiches, half a ton of earl grey, closely followed but scones, jam & clotted cream, strawberry & raspberry tarts, éclairs, cup cakes & chocolate tortes!!!!
We finished the tea off with a glass of champagne, then loads of us got the full on sugar shakes!!!!
Then we met up with another gaggle of girls & sang (well not in my case!) karaoke until gone midnight.
The girls clubbed together & bought me a full de-fuzz at my local beauty parlour & a gorgeous marabou feather clad babydoll & knickers . Upon presentation of these undies I was encouraged to put them on over my clothes & sing Madonnas Like a Virgin….oh dear, not wanting to disappoint…I did I don’t think I’ll ever be able to hear that song again
