Hi there - this is my first post on here.

Just wanted to say hello - anyone about??

Are there any unwritten rules that I should know about??

I'm Karen ~ not sure myself about rules, I think probably just standard rules i.e no swearing etc.. I'm sure one of the moderators will let you know that side of things however!

to groovy - no rules (I swear all the time) except not to leave anything out when telling us about your wedding!

You can always tell who's about cos our names are at the top of the forums we're in - so you know if we are lurking with you!

Wow what a big response. Did not hang around yesterday as went out for a meal but thanks for all the replys. Also my dial up connection is really slow so that can also hinder me a bit on here!!

Anyway my name is Debbie and I am marrying Steven in 101 days 6th May 2004 in Barbados. I can't wait. There will only be 6 including us, my mum, dad, brother and his fiancee (also my bridesmaid). They get married 100 days after us in August and are having a much bigger wedding here.

Steven has been married before (but no children) and does not see a great deal of his family so this way is the best option for us.

I am 25 and Steven is 36 we will have been together 4.5 years on our wedding day and plan to start a family asap after wedding.

Is anybody else getting married abroad??

Hope that is enough info for starters - what about everybody else??

A Barbados wedding will be lovely. 101 days to go - hope you're ticking them off! I'm getting married in July - that doesn't seem far away now... Not going abroad for it though. Will be local - around Coventry. Church wedding and hotel reception.
