Talking OMIGOD I'm in the Top 10!! And an update...

I can't believe I'm in the Top 10 already!! And I still have 4 1/2 months to go....

Quick update on the planning. I have been so stressed out the last few weeks after realising that I only had 5 months to do so much preparation But I now have the ball rolling and am well on my way.

My mum and 2 Bms came over from Belfast last Sat and on Monday I ordered the bm dresses. It was a good but very stressful (and very wet!) day. In the end we got them from Pronuptia. I nearly cried when I heard it would take 4 months for them to arrive and I told the assistant that my wedding was in 4 1/2 months so she called the supplier and they said end of April was the soonest so that gives us a month....I have a nightmarish premonition that they won't arrive on time

I also finally booked a florist! She seems lovely and I have to go back in a few weeks to discuss what I want (I just can't decide!).

I started making the invites on Wednesday night (yippee!) and have my day ones nearly ready. Two of my friends are helping me finish them tomorrow and Rob (bless him) is going to start embossing tomorrow. He is really starting to get involved, which is shocking but lovely

We ordered Rob's wedding ring today. My heart swelled when he said to me 'Can I wear it now?!'. He seems to be getting excited now which is causing me to get even more excited!! He also went in and tried on a morning suit this afternoon and he did look dapper! We're gonna have another look during the week and then he's going to place the order next Sat.

Trying to think if that's it.....oh, my nephew has agreed to read at the ceremony (he's 12). That made me go all warm and fuzzy too cos he was really chuffed at being asked.

Emmmm...think that's all for now. Congrats for getting this far! So everything is starting to come together at last and nearly only 4 months to go.... not long...

Take care fellow stressheads!

Bless you!

I am SURE your BM dresses WILL turn up. I guess it is just natural to worry!!

I'm glad your H2B is taking an active interest, my Jonathan is like that too. Its so lovely isn't it

I cant wait until I am only a few months away from my wedding as I so cant wait to be at this stage of the planning!

Its all exciting! (Stressful to of course!) BUT, enjoy every moment of it.. afterall, you only to it the once!

Hugs, Karen xx

Have you got any piccies of the bridesmaid dresses? I'm sure they'll arrive in time, try not to stress about them!
