Please please help!

I need to find a tail coat for a man!

The sort I am looking for are the ones that look more lke a ringmasters coat,sort of a jacket with tails as opposed to a morning suitstyle.

So far we have been quoted upwards of £300

to get it made and it will take almost two months! BUT we need it NOW!

Help me please

Can you try and explain a little bit more of what you want - I can't visualise it enough to help by looking online...:confused:

I will say J had his wedding jacket made by www.thedarkangel.co.uk - they made it to measure very quickly for about half of what you were quoted.
They also made the little BMS dresses in about a week - they are still wearing them to parties (as fairies ) over a year later

they call them evening tails.Its like the coat a conductor wears,orchestra not bus,or Fred Astair.

Not got any ideas as to where to look, but I'm assuming this is the type of jacket you mean.......

Have you tried speaking to any of the "Evening Wear Hire" places?? They may have some there that are for sale, or if it's somthing that he'll only ever wear once, then you could hire one.

Ok here goes so far

He needs it for a seris of qualifing competitions.Being broad in the sholders it needs to be adjusted,not a problem if he is willing to have it made to measure but as it it only for this season its a bit steep pricewise.Most of the hire shops ones are a bit long at the back and we cant chop it up as they get a bit stroppy about it.

oh well gonna keep hunting
